Roll To Win

Spread the love

I have a couple of thoughts on the RTW game.  The game table and player stations are designed to make it difficult to shoot the same way we would on a carpeted table.

I find this game to be perfect for hop bets and horn bets.  If you see a pattern with a shooter you can bet for the best payout. There is usually a maximum amount total that can be bet overall. One location I visit has a maximum of $200. that can be in play. If a player has a pattern of evening out every 3rd roll, a hop bet wrks here.

I made a $25 hop on 5-2 and it payed $400.  On a different occasion  I had $200 total in bets on the Box numbers, Pass-line with max odds, and Hard-ways.

I was managing to roll well and finished with $900. But it’s tricky with the raised curbs across the landing zone. It is easy to lose that $900..

The hop bet is fun for the gambler with the other shooters having no idea you are betting on the 7. It is not the Craps that we are used to playing. Its a carnival game and should be thought of differently in the opportunities in betting.

Think of it as a place to take a break if they supply chairs and make some bets.

For the engineers on this site what makes those lines affect the dice so much? When setting the dice I cab feel them being affected if I have them close to the lines .

I like playing on it since you can bet little and sit . The lines do make it a random game .

Good Rolling.

if you play you need to know if you get points for play and other things .they are not all the same .

Just returned from Connecticut. Roll to Win no longer by the river. It’s all about Stadium Games now. Boston has added more Bubble Craps and Stadium Games.  I will never sit at a bubble head game.

I actually enjoy sitting on my rear end to take a break to play Stadium Roulette. Easy way to make a few hundred bucks in a short time period.

I guess I should tell you that I played the $100 table ( lowered to $50 )(Best playable tables there away from the bubble  heads in the high limit area close to midnight and swept up to $800 on a one hundred buy-in. Went to bed at midnight.

The other place through the woods by Godly Locks house is non smoking now. It was as smoky as the place in Vegas selling Gold. All the tables are $10 on Tuesday when we were there. They roll like the tables in Golden Touch class and the rails are low. The two tables in the high limit are $50 when open according to staff information.

I should add that I noticed they have the Sticks Dealers wearing one ear bud for instructions at the smoke free location. And the Box was nosy asking us personal questions like they are trying to get a run down on people. He was making notes in his computer. For some reason they want the people to know they are wired. Maybe they had trouble with the locals.

The place did seem cleaned up when it comes to patrons.

I remember many moons ago when they built the Casino by my house the dealer without saying a word pulled his collar back to show me the microphone hanging around his neck. he wanted to warn me.  So these Casino are probably afraid of team playing and all that jazz. I know you all know this but I need to remind myself to keep my mouth shut and ride under the radar.  These Casinos don’t like winners.

Correction to earlier post by me. on Roll To Win Game.  It was pulled from one location by the river but is still available if you drive through the woods. Located in same location by Stadium Games. I play here often now. I had written it off before the Pandemic. Bring ear protection for the loud music.

question for you Tech guys out there . On the RTW machine when are the points given for your bets ?

Is it coin  in coin out or what ?

Posted by: Dominator on June 8, 2023, 2:59 pm

I don’t know the answer to your question

Posted by: Cotton Lob on June 9, 2023, 1:39 am

@finisher You insert the amount of dollars that you want to gamble with. The old dog track that I play at occasionally limits you to $200 total in bets on your console on all bets made. You press the buttons to place your bets. You press a button and choose the amount for a tip to the dealer. A button is pressed to remove your money from the machine. You receive a slip like a slot machine. This can be brought to the cage to cash out or a teller machine can be used.  My best win on this game was on an empty table in the afternoon with a win of $900. making the maximum  $200 bet with a buy in of probably two or three hundred dollars. Time played was less than two hours. Maybe an hour. My normal limit. I like it because I can throw twenty bucks in and make some $5 bets and grow that $20 up. There is a $5 minimum bet required.  I like counting the average toss on shooters and play Hop Bets on seven. its a nice change.  A good back spin works or a lob with your fingers sliding down low . For me. I lob the dice with a bounce against the wall close to the corner. Stick left. If you are short lean in between the consoles.  Hope this helps with your question @finisher.

Cotten Lob Thanks for the reply even though it did not give the answer that I was looking for .

It is a soft ware thing that is why I am surprised that Dom or other Tech people have no answer . I guess it is a BIG secrets like how points are given out .

When I first started playing machine craps they had one were I play that had a bank of 12 machines . You would get one point for every 5.00 in machine . It paid like a slot coin in coin out .

If you play at the C casinos you know how their point system works . Well some would play the Doey Don’t system and make it to 7 Star . Well the casino learned this and changed the point thing to 200.00 play to get one point and even took the machines out which were the kind that you could SET the dice . It was a lot of fun playing them . My 2 best rolls on them were a 67 and a 62 roll . At that time there was a 3.00 min bet on them . It would keep up a long roll till some one beat it or the machine was rebooted . My 67 roll only lasted one week . But when you started rolling you could see the last long roll that someone had just not when .

So I just want to know about how the points go since they are different at every casino . Some don’t even give you points .

Good Rolling Thanks again

Ya @finisher, This is just a craps games designed to eliminate dealers. It counts your rolls but they are not stored for display. You handle no chips so the bets are made with ease. No dealer needed. You can walk up with five dollars and play. Pretty simple. The stick man is usually new to working in a casino and doesn’t even know the rules of the game. He just moves the dice around.

Cotten Lob  Have you gone back to old posts ? You will see that I along with others posted a lot of posts on these machines . Some are different then others . I for one stopped playing the Bubble kind .

I guess I got spoiled with the one that you could set the dice and throw them . I also could get a decent amount of points with little money compared to slots but no more . When they first got the RTW at the casino I play at I was at 5 spot throwing left . when the next person got the dice they threw the dice also to the left . Which is about 2 ft. from wall . Stick person called out the roll and then was informed of mistake . She said that they only told her that both dice had to hit the back and that is all she knows about craps .

They no longer have the RTW machine . Some machines have 5.00 min. and some are 10.00 . Most have gone away with 3.00 min.

Would like to know how they work the points were you play ? Were I play you can swipe your card and it will tell you points for slots or table .

Good Rolling.

Sounds like fun. I am going to look into it.  Thanks for the info.  Cheers

I see that now some casinos will not let you throw at the center spot on table . On position 5 or 6 now . I guess they were losing money .

Do you  get vary many points were you play ?

Good Rolling.

I have a new favorite Casino that opened in an old dog track by the ocean. Poker, Sports betting, horses, dogs, slots, table games, RTW.  Televisions everywhere to watch all the action. Good people betting here.  Love the guys with their race books in one hand and pens in the other.  Like being at the track.   LOL    Rolling points on 2nd roll. Total rolls usually at  15 to 35. Making my $ goal by tenth roll. Saves me another two to four hour drive and I can be home the same afternoon. Met some old friends here for dinner last week after visiting a brew pub a few exits down the highway.  I need to be careful with having too large of wins. Small enough to notice. We limit our visit to one to two hours.

Sounds like you are doing it right. Is that a dirt road that you have to drive down ? I guess they have not made enough from you to pave it . Small wins ADD up that is what I tell the dealers with my bets for them .’Good Rolling.

[/quote]   Yes I do but not recently.  I think the last post was from Goddess. She had mentioned a dice set she likes to use so I tried it on my practice rig. I need to try it in the casino.  My wife and I met with Goddess for dinner returning from a casino trip last year. We enjoyed the company and meal.

When I first joined I went and read all old posts . It took some time but did receive a lot of info with out asking questions that were already posted about .

I now try to keep up with them . At times that is hard since I go on vacation for 3 months and stay off line a lot . Also during those 3 months no casinos or practice . Just enjoy the Grd Kids . It is nice in Spain .

Have you looked into the point thing with the RTW machine every casino is different . Some you get zero points .

Good Rolling.
