Craps in Florida

Spread the love

I was recently in Florida and made visit  to a couple of Casinos to check on the opening of the Craps tables.  The Suits told me they planned on opening before the end of November.

A couple of tables were set in beautiful locations with plenty of room. Many were still being set up by technicians.

Tables are twelve feet long with good playing service.

Prices are $10,$15, $25

Roulette and card tables were also being set up. Plenty of Bubble Craps. No glass tables were seen were I visited.

The wife and I have been playing in the North East. She continues to work on her rail/elbow at stick right. Getting betting with confidence.

@cotton-lob   Nice trip report.    I really like the 12 footers vs the 14 footers.   Nice to see more states opening up to live gaming.   I really appreciate having it 30-40 minutes away from the house here in AZ.    Although I really like the table conditions in Vegas.  So many good places to play with 12 foot tables.    Hope you and your Mrs will get a chance to play down south soon.  Sounds like a lot of good playing conditions.

I still have not been to Atlantic City but with total travel time considered it’s just as easy to travel to Florida or Las Vegas from Maine. We have been getting offers from Atlantic City for flights and hotel out of New Hampshire. That’s still a two hour drive to start.

@bigcasino I have been putting a lot of time in beating poor table conditions this year I don’t know what I would do with a good table.  I realized how far I’ve come on our recent visit to Bean Town on a Saturday night with the loud wedding party drinkers and other degenerates not having an affect on my long roll.   I just get nuts with them while shooting. It helps that I don’t drink. But I still know how act like like a nut and get rowdy while collecting my COME Bets and Pass Lines. LOL

The one picture I snapped of the table was when I wasn’t shooting. There were so many chips on the table on my roll I had only a strip of bare turf to land the dice. There are many new dealers being trained now. Unbelievable. This place has some of best boxes and suits in the industry. They have been really good at staying on top of the new dealers and talking through the payouts. It slows it up a bit but stuff like that doesn’t rattle me anymore. They removed the buffet and replaced it with a sports book and two food outlets. They also added a piano jazz joint.  Things are looking up with this pandemic. There is a Sinatra song book act too.

Looks like Rose and Doc will have to give Florida a fun for it’s money as we get into the new year.  Always like a new venue where we can play the game we love.
