Can someone explain to me how the table max works.
A $10.00 table with 3x 4x 5x odds and a $2,000.00 max.
I’m a conservative come bettor, but if I wanted to how would I bet the max. I have yet to see that happen at the tables.

The table max applies to your line bets. Thus $2000 is the most you can bet on the pass, don’t pass, come or don’t come line wagers.
if you made a $2000 passline wager, you could take $6000, $8000 or $10,000 in odds at a 3-4-5X table. Each payout would be $14,000.
At this type of table for place bets one can usually wager up to $5,000 on the 4,5,9 or 10 and up to $6,000 on the 6 or 8.
The prop bets work on a maximum payout. Typically they will pay a maximum of $15,000 for the prop bets at this type of table.
For example the hard 6 or 8 pays 9-1. A wager of $1,666.67 on the hard 6 or 8 would pay $15,000. If you bet more it would still only pay $15,000. Conversely since the hard 4 or 10 pays 7-1 you could wager up to $2,142.86 on them for a $15,000 payout.
