Looking for words of wisdom on the plexiglass tables.
Other than not playing on them, does anyone have any suggestions on throwing with Plexiglass?
I cant get my arm out straight to make a good throw. I have been playing at a casino without glass, but minimums are $25 and $50. Some other local casinos are $10 and $15, but plexiglass.
Thanks

Honestly I haven’t played on any tables with plexiglass. I have to wait on giving some advice except to hope that all this stuff goes away!

Cliff,
I’ve seen a number of iterations of Plexiglas, some playable, some are not. My opinion is to try your shot at your position(s) and if you can swing it without hurting yourself, physically or otherwise, then great. I’m not even going to try AC, but the Lion’s properties in LV are good, the ones off strip I’ve tried right handed from SR1, even with face Plexiglas were playable as they were cut high enough to give me full motion. One of the hybrid’s I’ve tried with plexi was also playable from SL1.
If my arm hits the plexi with my normal throw from either side, I’m not going to play, there are plenty of options in my neck of the woods at least, and my advantage comes from years of practice from just 3 positions. But if you, IYHO, won’t have the option to play elsewhere and it’s your only option, please at least try to develop a shot and prove you can do it with an advantage before putting $ out there.

All the local plexiglass are not playable with my normal shot. I end up with a sore shoulder from hitting my forearm on the glass.
I am not really excited about messing with my shot. I may just go to the higher limit casino less often. It would be nice to play at lower limits, but if it is just random rolling I am out.
Thanks again for feedback.

@CliffM1 I know what your talking about. I have played on a few of the tables that have Plexiglass and haven’t done that well.

@cliffm1. You would not even fit in the plexiglass phone booths at some of the casinos in Vegas. They’re so narrow I couldn’t even stand square to the table. Both shoulders touch the glass.
