GTC???

Spread the love

Looking for some advice.
I was at my favorite CT casino and doing pretty good. threw 4 sessions (18,3,21,22 throws).
One of the high betters ( betting $900 inside to start) asked me how many classes I have taken?
I asked, puzzled, what classes? His response was the GTC classes, said you got a good throw.

What do you say when someone asks? I told him I’ve never taken a class, which is the truth.

How do you handle this question?

When the casino cant hear you, thank him for the compliment, and tell him the truth.

Rose and Doc always ways say "Class? They have classes? I read a book once but probably paid too much for the darn thing." Then kinda laugh. And move on. If we can catch the guy later away from the table we can have a little discussion.

This seems to work when the same thing happens at a BJ table and we are counting cards.

This seems to work.

Thanks for the info.
I will be taking the class in 2020 and I am very excited to get started.
I am new to the craps world and wanted to learn the right way out of the box.
It is very comforting to see the players that know what they are doing at the table and are able to spot a GTC student.

Watched a lot of youtube videos to try and learn the game. That’s what lead me to GTC. It appeared to a novice to be the best system to learn.

Thanks again and I look forward to putting faces on the posters to this site at the class.

Doc is right, act like you have no idea what he is talking about. Hopefully the guy never took a class from us because asking that question at a table is just moronic!

BTW – at the class you are taking remind me to tell the story of NF5 and I at a table in Vegas when the suit said something like that to me and Daryl responded – it is hilarious!

You should go back and read old posts if you have not done before class . There is lots of info in them .

@Coop, the issue with this is that they might say something to someone else. As noted, you’re always better off denying unless you are well away from the table and because it could still be a casino employee of another nearby, saying nothing is the safest.

I had a pit boss in a casino on freemont street comment " I know guys like you – you have a table at home don’t you?"

I said "yes – the dinning room table" He laughed and I continued to roll. I received no heat from him the entire session

Dice Shark, love your response.

CliffM1,

You must be tossing them pretty good to be getting questions like that ! You will be a FORCE after your Primer course this year.

I would go with Doc’s reply. " Classes? Didn’t know they had classes" Sometimes on the come out roll I will just toss them like a random roller.

Thanks for the reply. It has been so much more fun at the tables with GTC.
I was at the casino yesterday and threw 3 times. first was 21, second 4 and third 27. Started with $300 and cashed out $655.
Nice idea about the come out. What I have been doing on the come out throws is trying the 3v set.
I use the hardways only, it seems to be the most forgiving set for me. But, if my throw is really on the 3v hits the inside #’s like crazy.
So what I have been using the come out roll to try the 3v and see what it looks like that particular night and on that table.

Thanks again for all your input, it is always appreciated.

GTC you guys amazing.
I received the DVD about 3 weeks ago and have been studying.
Went to the casino on Saturday, threw three times because the tables got crowded.
I start with $300 and first throw cashed out about $450 and threw 17 times.
Moved to another table and threw another 18 times and cashed in $450.
The third throw was 22 and cashed out $575. TOtal for the day $565.
Then day two, threw two times.
First throw buy in at $300 and cashed out $450 and 22 throws.
Second throw buy in $300 and cashed out $854.
Total for the weekend I was up $1,343.

THANK YOU GTC, your guidance is been the biggest key to success.
I am excited about the seminar in 2020. The casino has paid for the entire seminar in less than 6 weeks.

Thanks again for all your help.

Nice trip report and congrats on your throws. If he is that on off guy after x number of throws then I know who your talking about. He should know better then to talk at the table and sign-up he has seen what the GTC skills can do.
