    New Fascinating Series on Sports Betting – “Action”

    There is a new series on Showtime, “Action”. It’s a 4 part series, all 4 now available. It’s all about sports betting in America, and was filmed in early 2019. It’s a documentary, similar to the “Breaking Vegas” that introduced Dominator to the world. I watched the first two parts with no interlude.

    In addition to showing the explosion of casino sports betting since 2018, it introduces 6 main characters – a betting sports broadcaster (a very new type of sportscaster), 3 very different avid sports bettors (1 an average casino dweller, 2 that are uber bettors), and 1 that runs a subscription service advising what bets to make.
    Note: Dom’s service puts this last guy to shame.

    It was filmed in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

    I found the series well done, very honest. It gave me a good feel for the endeavor. And, it convinced me that when I’m ready to foray into sports betting, I will be subscribing to Dom’s service.

    I highly recommend the series.

    We were able to get a temporary membership with Showtime through my Amazon Prime account. We enjoyed watching the show "Action". I thought they did a good job letting us into the lives of the people in the gambling world. It reminded me of when I day traded on the stock market in the 1990’s. I got out in the summer of 2006. It is time consuming to the level you choose to take it but I have never had so much fun until dice came along.
