Casino Trip Report 9-06-2019

Spread the love

Although I had to cancel my Las Vegas Tune Up Session due to my responsibilities, I conducted my own practice session with you guys in spirit.

I had a fun afternoon at the Casino Friday. I took the bus into South Station Boston and walked two blocks to China Town. I tried a new small joint that offered Dim Sum; Nice and lite.

Walked around the corner to Hong Kong BBQ and purchased Chinese dumpling noodle soup, BBQ ribs, half a duck, and pork Lo Mein – to take home.

Walked two blocks to the MBTA Orange Line on Washington Street and took the train to Wellington Station in Everett, MA. . (Fast Ride)
I was able to take the Encore shuttle to the Casino.

I checked in my sack of Chinese food with the bell hop at the front desk for safe keeping and headed for the craps table.

I had a few false starts at the table so I roamed around exploring and people watching and had a coffee at DD.

After a couple of hours I walked up to a $25 empty table and stated rolling. A second fellow took up the end position. We were doing well when a third chap took up position on the hook.
The three of us had a good time throwing well when my eyes began to glaze over and the sound in my ears got louder. (I was in the Zone)

I was throwing really well hitting the points so I started with the Come Bets with Odds hitting over and over continuing to feed the Come Bets. My Bank tippled quickly.
We were having fun too.

A few more players approached the table but they had nothing to contribute but negative energy. I decided to walk away to check out another table with just one shooter.
The other two fellows also departed.

Short session but successful.

My wife met up with me with the car so we claimed the sack of Chinese and drove home.

Hi Cotton lob,

My concern was if the Chinese food went bad after so many hours or did the bell service put it in a fridge for you. The good part of this post was that you waited and played only when table conditions were favorable to you. I definitely recommend Doc and Rose for a tune-up.

Mr. PiP, The food survived but I came down with the sneezing flu this week from either the subway train or China town. Don’t need to get a shot now. You are so right about waiting it out on the table. There are days when my game just doesn’t happen and I will walk the carpet. I grabbed the empty table and it clicked. Lucky to have two shooters join me. I really enjoy watching good shooters with their individual styles. I witness the damnedest techniques. Just when you think you saw it all. Doc and Rose turned my lob around. It’s worth spending time with them and the rest of the crew.
