This is by Billy. This is a help folder and doesn’t need any post under it!!!!!!!
Dominator
I have been prodded by some of my partners to post again on this subject because they think that some members still don’t know what is OK to be posted and what is not OK and why.
I am going to be VERY specific so there will be no misunderstandings. I am going to give examples of what might be posted, tell you if it is OK to post it and why it is or is not OK to make a post of this nature.
I think these things are obvious but we get new members all the time that may not understand how crucial some of these things are and what damage can be done by posting specifics on a public message board.
1. Last weekend I went to Sarrahs casino and had dinner with my inlaws at their steak house and it was fantastic. I recommend the T-Bone. Our waitress Sally is the greatest.
This is OK. It is Ok since Sarrahs knows that their steak house and their wait staff is great.
2. Last weekend we went to Sarrahs casino in AC and stayed for the weekend. We played on the boardwalk and I had rolls of 22, 17, and 36 . The weather was fantastic and we made some money. This is OK.
It is OK since you have given no specific casino info.
3. Last weekend we went to Sarrahs casino. We checked in at 4:15 and were upgraded to a mini suite by Joanne the desk clerk. While playing blackjack on swing shift at Mary’s table I made $2700 since Mary would flash her hole card almost every hand. I couldn’t believe it would be so easy. I colored up when my wife Nancy came to get me for our 8:30 dinner reservations at the steak house.
This is NOT OK.
You have given the casino information about a gaping hole in their dealer training and security procedures. You have also given the casino many easy ways to identify you. When the casino reads this Mary will be re-trained and you will be asked to leave and never come back on your next visit.
4. Last weekend we stayed at Sarrahs casino. We stay there often since our favorite host Clyde always makes sure that we have our favorite corner room with the fabulous view of the oil refineries. We love staying at Sarrahs since they installed the tables with the orange felt. Having the orange felt and those wonderful pink dice makes dice control so easy. We used to stay at Donnies casino but since they changed their tables from the orange felt to the red felt it is impossible to control the dice anymore.
This is NOT OK.
You have given specific information to two casinos that will assist them in their efforts to make you AND everyone else a loser. You have also identified yourself to the casino.
5. Last weekend we went to Sarrahs casino and stayed with our friends Bobbie and Sharon. Bobbie and Sharon are high rollers and their host Sigmund always comps the rooms and food for the people that travel with them. Bobbie is 6" 6"" tall and always wears a cowboy hat in the casino. Sharon is a fantastic shooter and she looked ravishing in that purple dress on Saturday night.
Sharon loves table #4 at Sarrahs since that table is the only one with chrome roller bearings and the high performance intake manifold. She has made $250,000 playing at that table over the years.
This is NOT OK.
You have given the casino specific information about their game and you have identified another advantage player. This is a cardinal sin. When the casino reads this Sharon will have to sell her Porsche since table #4 will be altered for lower performance and she will have to return to her job at Burger King. Bobbie will start drinking again, Sharon will toss him from the house and he will move into your spare bedroom. You will deserve it.
#6. Last weekend we went to Sarrahs casino. I always do well at Sarrahs. Two years ago when the slot manager changed all of the great video poker machines they forgot to change the pay table on the Yahoo Betty Machine just outside the entrance to the Great Wall of China restaurant. I can play this machine for 1 hour a day, make an average of $50 per hour and get enough comp points to get RFB.
This is NOT OK.
You have given specific information to the casino about a great opportunity there. You have made it very easy for them to find this machine. On your next visit Yahoo Betty will be history and you can say hello to a brand new Screw You Charlie Sandtrap machine. Plan on paying for your rooms and food in the future.
A.] You may read this and think that some of these things don’t matter to you. They matter to OTHERS. Members here make MONEY exploiting various weaknesses in casinos and you may ruin their opportunity by not thinking and posting some specific detail about a casino that you have visited.
B.] NEVER identify another player whether it is someone that you know or someone that you might meet. Never talk openly in a casino to someone you don’t know or put that person at risk by saying anything. I personally know a player that was outed by someone on this board inadvertently. This person was asked to leave this casino and never return.
C.] NEVER tell why you think a certain casino is an easy target or what makes their tables great. I fully believe that posts made here and on other boards directly turned the best casino in the world into one of the worst. It may have gone to hell in a hand basket anyway but I still believe that we as a group said too much about why it was so good.
D.] NEVER post about what makes a certain casino easy to play or what make another bad to play. Casino employees go from job to job and their world is small. If you say casino A has made their tables impossible because they changed XXX then an employee at casino B will call their friend at casino A and ask what they did to make your life miserable. Casino B will do what casino A did. Don’t make it easier for them.
E.] If you want to tell people where you stayed last weekend then at least disguise the name of the casino. Don’t write Sarrahs write S@r-rahs. This will fool the search function on this site. This protects YOU. Sarrahs employees will not find your post by entering Sarrahs in the search feature here. If you want to rub a casinos face in the fact that you go there, take their money and get RFB once a month, fine. Someone from that casino might just get annoyed enough and find you and tell you you can’t play there again or worse yet change the conditions so that everyone will lose.
F.] Please by all means post trip reports. Tell everyone how great a time you had. Tell us about your favorite restaurants and your great rolls. We don’t need to know where your great rolls happened or what conditions created those rolls or other good fortune.
G.] This brings us to another problem. Everyone wants to know where to play, where the great places are and where to meet you to play.
As you progress from CF to well worn casino killer you will learn things about casinos and what it takes for you to be a winner.
You must network with others to further your education.
You must make friends with others and SHARE information. Never give information about casinos or yourself to people that are not known to you.
Your net working starts at the GTC dice control class. Start making friends there and those friendships will continue to grow and help you progress your knowledge and skill.
Yes the casinos can identify us by how we throw. We can’t hide our throw but we don’t have to tell them the specifics about what makes it work better and what makes it harder. We can and do hide amongst the throng of players who set, or do other rituals prior to the toss. Make it easier to hide by keeping our secrets to ourselves.
I am hesitant posting these specific guidelines but I felt that if I didn’t it could lead to further damage. We need to protect ourselves and other players and keep our opportunities alive. Dom if you feel that I went too far in this post please take it down.
Remember it’s not the naming of casinos that is bad, it’s the specific information about that casino or people that can do the damage.
